The cell must distinguish drafting conformity from technical exceptions, then route the latter back to the named engineering authority.

Autodesk’s Sheet Set Manager documentation treats a sheet set as an organized collection of sheets from multiple drawing files. That structure supports package-level publishing and property control. We still require a separate source register because the sheet set does not establish which survey export, owner standard, or approved design revision supplied a particular feature. Limiting the pilot to a clean sheet would leave the escalation process untested before volume begins.

Pilot rule: approve the operating method before approving volume. Freeze the sample inputs, preserve every review comment, and require the corrected package to replay from the same source register.

The sample also exposes communication cost. When every question becomes a meeting, the decision record needs more structure. Name the affected object and source conflict. Also identify the authority needed for approval. A lead can respond without reconstructing the whole sheet, and the answer remains available when the next revision is checked.

Keep Telecom Data Governed Across the Boundary

Telecom drawings can reveal route geometry and structure identifiers. Equipment locations may also expose capacity assumptions about planned construction. Make revision control observable

Each revision should answer four questions in plain language: what changed, why it changed, which source authorized it, and what downstream sheets or records were affected.
